Turning your hobby to a business with Ros Gervay from Ros Gervay Creative

The decision to turn your passion or hobby into a proper business can be scary and there is alot to consider. This week on the Inpired By Her Podcast I am chatting with Ros Gervay about her story in turning her passion for art into the business she has today Ros Gervay Creative. 

Ros is open about the ups and downs of the road to building a business and the road is often not a linear one but has plenty of detours along the way. This is such an inspiring and fun chat!

 About Ros:

I am an Australian abstract artist based in Sydney Australia with a passion for all things art, creativity and design. I have always been interested in the creative arts. When I was in high school, I wanted to be an artist but was led towards studying Design at Art College and became an interior designer. After moving into corporate real estate, I found myself further and further from hands-on creativity and self-expression. I left my job to get a Masters in Teaching and today I work part-time as a teacher whilst building my art business. The turning point that resulted in me fully committing to my professional art career was my young children. My two beautiful girls helped me to see that I needed a means for expressing myself and regaining my identity and self-confidence. Being in the soul-enriching space of art and creativity has brought me great peace - my art practice and art business have me constantly problem-solving and I love every second of it.
